- Grant SMS permission when prompted (for automatic expense tracking)

How Your Data is Stored
Revva uses Android's built-in Room database to store all transaction data locally on your device. This means:
- Data is encrypted by your device's security
- Only you can access it (with your device unlock)
- If you uninstall the app, data is permanently deleted
- We never see, store, or transmit your financial information

Do I need an email to use Revva?
No. Revva does not require email, phone number, or any personal information. Just download and use.
What if I change phones?
You can export your transactions as CSV from Settings > Export Data. Import this into your new phone's Revva app or any spreadsheet app.
Is my data backed up?
Currently, data is stored only on your device. Cloud sync is on our roadmap as an optional, opt-in feature. We recommend exporting your data regularly.
Can I recover deleted data?
No. Once you uninstall Revva or delete data, it cannot be recovered. Always export before uninstalling.
